Sitting over the Hillsborough River in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, this bath tub box girder bridge weighed in at over 1,000 tons of fabricated components. Mainly a weathering steel bridge with coated abutments, this new structure was an addition to the existing structure to increase the number of lanes over a busy and well traveled route.
